Seraikela Hat bandobasti yet to be done

Seraikela, April 3: The dates of Bandobasti of Seraikela Hat (Vegetable Market) ended as the March month got over.

With the model code of conduct coming into effect Nagar panchayat couldn�t do the bandobasti of the market. On 1st April the vendors without giving the market tax put up their shops at the hat. According the vendors the tax was collected from April 2.

It may be noted that until the bandobasti is done the work will be done at departmental level. A vendor at the market said that tax is being collected from us but we are not being provided with receipt. The vendors now are being forced to move to Nagar Panchayat office.
