Jamshedpur, Sept. 21 : In order to meet festive rush, the South Eastern Railway ( SER) has decided to run special train between Shalimar and Jaipur,that will run via Tatanagar.
Officials at the South Eastern Railway headquarters at Garden Reach in Kolkata said that the train would run weekly. The Shalimar-Jaipur Puja Special Express train will leave Shalimar on every Monday between October 6 and October 28 while the return train will leavel Jaipur every Wednesday between October 9 and October 30.
The Shalimar-Jaipur Puja Special (08061) will leave Shalimar every Monday at 8.20 pm and will reach Jaipur at 6.35 am on Wednesday. The train will reach Tatanagar railway station around midnight every Monday.
In the opposite direction, the train (08062) will leave Jaipur every Wednesday at 12:50 pm and will arrive Shalimar at 11.20 pm, the next day ( Thursday). The return train will come to Tatangar every Thursday at 7 pm.
The special train will have four AC-2 Tier, five AC 3 Tier and four sleeper class coaches and will have stoppages at Santragachi, Kharagpur, Tatanagar, Chakradharpur, Rourkela, Jharsuguda, Raigarh, Champa, Bilaspur, Pendra Road, Anupur, Shadol, Katni Murwara, Damoh, Sagour, Bina Malkhedi, Guna, Ruthiyai, Kota, Sawai Madhopur, Bansthali Niwai and Durgapura stations between the two destinations – Shalimar and Jaipur.
