SER makes elaborate arrangement for running 436 trips of festival special trains

Kolkata, Oct 19: South Eastern Railway has already made elaborate arrangements for running of 436 trips of festival special trains on different nominated days for the period from 16.10.2020 to 01.12.2020 during festive season up till now.

Out of total 436 trips of Special trains, 92 trips each will be between Howrah-Digha-Howrah & Howrah-Tatanagar-Howrah while 90 trips will be between Howrah-Ranchi-Howrah.  Another 52 trips will be between Howrah-Puri and 7 trips each between Howrah- Ernakulam & Santragachi-Puducherry.

Apart from this, Special Trains will also run between Shalimar-Thiruvananthapuram (6trips), Santragachi-Pune (6trips), Howrah-Sambalpur (6 trips), Hatia-Lokmanya Tilak Terminus (6trips), Hatia- Yesvantpur (6trips), Tatanagar-Yesvantpur (6 trips), Bangriposi-Bhubaneswar (42 trips) and Barbil-Puri (18 trips) on different nominated days.

The details of these Special Trains are available at NTES (National Train Enquiry System). These Festival Specials are fully reserved and special charges will be levied. Booking of tickets and reservations by the above special trains is available except some special trains which will be opened shortly. Passengers are requested to strictly observe the COVID- 19 PROTOCOLS before undertaking the journey.
