Jamshedpur, December 31: Tata Steel Sports Department organised Senior citizen Golf Putting Championship under the banner of Senior Citizen Fun and Fitness League on Monday at JRD Tata Sports complex Golf putting ground.
In an endeavor to promote fun and fitness amongst our senior citizen fraternity, sports department are organizing various sporting events throughout the year under the leadership of Mukul Vinayak Choudhari, Chief Sports, Tata Steel and Vibhuti Dhand Adesara, Head Sports, Tata Steel
A total of 21 participants took part in the Senior Citizen Golf Putting Championship organized by the Tata Steel Sports Department. In the Ladies category, the winners were Rekha Jha, Raveena Duggal, and Vinita Rai. In the Men’s (55-65 years) category, the top three positions were claimed by M.K. Jha, Ravi Bhusan, and Kripal Singh. For the Men’s (65+ years) category, the winners were Basudev Chowdhary, T.P. Sinha, and a tie between J.B. Sinha and Ashok Kr. Jha.
The event was coordinated by Dinesh Rakshit and Neelam Kumari of Tata Steel sports department with active support and encouragement from other officials of sports department.
Chief Sports Mukul Vinayak Choudhari, gave away the prizes to the winners.
