Jamshedpur, Sept 25: The youth wing (Navyug Dal) of Akhil Vishwa Gayatri Pariwar, Tatanagar unit, today organized a seminar on well being of a girl child at the Harijan Middle and High School premises in Bhalubasa. The seminar was initiated with Dalia Bhattacharya explaining the importance of the Gayatri Mahamantra.
Speakers dwelt on four main aspects of nurturing a girl child. They explained that it was important to ensure good health, healthy diet, self defense and responsibilities. 150 girl students of the school participated in the seminar. Ruby Sharma, Gita Devi, Punam Das and Bindeshwari Prasad spoke on the occasion. The school teacher Basant Kumar Ji played a big role in organizing the seminar. The Navyug Dal has plans to conduct similar seminars in other girls� schools and colleges in the near future.
