Jamshedpur: A competition for selection of teams to represent East Singhbhum on Jharkhand Statehood Day, was held at the DPRO office today.
Four teams participated in the competition held today. The teams included three theatre groups and one song group. The plays presented today were Teen Kaudi, Kalanki and Neele Jheel. The plays were presented by Taal, PATH and Shivlal Sagar groups.
Teams that could not participate will be given a chance to perform on November 10 at the same venue.
Today�s selection process was carried out by a four member panel headed by Ranjana Mishra, director, National Employment Program.
As per directives selected theatre and dance teams from all districts have to be sent to Ranchi by November 12.
