Seema Jaiswal joins Congress, cites disillusionment with BJP

Jamshedpur, Oct 17: BJP District Social Media Incharge (Mahila Morcha), Seema Jaiswal, officially joined Congress on October 17 expressing faith in Minister Banna Gupta’s leadership. Jaiswal, who had been with BJP for 20 years, was welcomed by Gupta with a floral garland and shawl. She criticized BJP for fielding Saryu Roy, calling him ‘corrupt and useless,’ and expressed disappointment over the neglect of local BJP workers in Jamshedpur West. Jaiswal announced her decision to work for ‘Vikas Purush’ Banna Gupta and condemned Roy’s treatment of workers and his opposition to the backward class.
