Ranchi, Nov 18: The second match of three-match T20I series between India and New Zealand will be played at JSCA Stadium in Ranchi on Friday. Both the teams reached Ranchi at around 5 pm. Under tight security, players reached the hotel directly from airport.
Journalists along with the public were not allowed at the airport. According to information, some staffs, including the head coach of the New Zealand team, left for the JSCA stadium as soon as they reached the hotel. They inspected the pitch there while Indian team management and players rested in the hotel. According to information received from JSCA sources, both the teams will not take part in practice session. It is possible that few players from both the teams will participate in a short practice session on Friday morning. The match is scheduled to begin at 7.30 pm on Friday.
It is after a gap of 4 years that T20I match will be played at Ranchi. Team India would hope to maintain their winning record at JSCA and take unassailable lead in the three-match series.
