SE Railway Scouts and Guides win top awards at NI Camp at Ganganagar

Jamshedpur, March 31: The Bharat Scouts and Guides National Headquarters New Delhi organized a five day National Integration camp to commemorate Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav with the theme   ‘Ek Bharat, Shresth Bharat’ at the State Training Centre in Ganganagar. The camp was organized between March 27 and 31. The National Integration Camp was attended by 291 participants from all over the country. Various types of cultural programs and Scout Guiding Skills were organized at the camp.

Scouts, Guides, Rovers, Rangers and Leaders of Chakradharpur represented South Eastern Railway. The team comprised 4 Scouts,04 Guides, 4 Rovers,4 Rangers one Scout Master and One Guide Captain. The event was organized under the leadership of Bablu Goswami, Assistant Director, Bharat Scouts and Guides at the National Headquarters in New Delhi.

Colourful cultural programs were organized including festivals of India, Marriages of India, Food of India, Folk Songs, Folk Dances, Pageant show among others. SE Railway’s Bharat Scouts and Guides of Chakradharpur Division had deputed Bibhuti Mukherjee as Scout Captain  and Neelu Martha Chora as Guide Captain for the National Integration Camp and Mohit Kumar, Scout Master assisted as staff member.

 SE Railway Bharat Scouts bagged the winner’s shield in State Exposition and Runner up shield in Food Plaza competitions.

During the Valedictory function, State Chief Commissioner Debaditya Chakraborty, Retd IAS, State Secretary, Pallav Kumar Basu and many other Scouts and Guides officials and guests were present during the function.
