SDSM students spread cleanliness awareness

Jamshedpur, Oct. 2: SDSM School for Excellence organized a concluding function of ‘Swachhta campaign’ in which 30 students from Class VIII, IX and XI along with 15 teachers participated in the 4 days campaign.

The Principal, Moushumi Das addressed the students and staff members emphasizing the importance of cleanliness which is a National Mission.

This Eco Club members went to 10 No. Basti, Sidhgora and completed the cleaning activity started on 1st October. Some students spoke to the residents of the area and spread awareness about the importance of �Swachhta Mission�.

The program was guided by teacher Neelam Jha and Eco Club teachers�Ekta Pandey, Ranjana Ganesan, Bhaswati Nayak, Rajni Singh, Arundhati Biswas, Narinder Kaur, Urvashi Thakur and T. Sai Ram. Ragini Singh, Vice-Principal and Mona Khosla, Sr. teacher guided the Eco Club in execution of the activity planned.

The school appreciated the role played by the students in calculating the spirit of hygiene and cleanliness, so that every child values the importance of good, clean and hygienic living.
