Jamshedpur: As a part of Swachhata Pakhwara celebration S.D.S.M. School for Excellence organized a seven step hand wash activity for the students of Std. III-V. The motive was to increase awareness and understand the importance of maintaining personal hygiene. The learning to enhance the healthy approach was presented through a dramatic skit demonstrated by students of Std. V.
The Swachhata fortnight began with Swachhata pledge on September 1, 2018. The School Pupil Leader Bhawan Malakar administered the pledge. Activities including Personal Hygiene day with audio visual programme, Hygine practices in school painting competitions for teachers and parents, awareness on water, bone diseases to promote safe drinking water, exhibition and letter writing were conducted.
Principal Moushumi Das congratulated the organizing team – Primary coordinator Sanghamitra Mohanty, Hindi coordinator P. Shashi, Social Science coordinator P. L. Padmawati as well as Vice Principal Ragini Singh.
