Jamshedpur: SDSM School for Excellence here on Monday organized a rally to spread awareness on safe Diwali. The rally was taken out by members of the awareness team of S.D.M.C. comprising 171 students accompanied by Safe Club members and teachers who participated with a clear message to motorists �Safety First, Safety Always�.
Before the rally was conducted the Principal, Moushmi Das, addressed the assembly and spoke about the awareness on safety as an integral part of life. The next important point stated was that celebrating Diwali by making decorative diyas and presenting the same to friends and relatives emphasizing on the joy of giving and happiness, would be a better idea than bursting crackers.
The rally was successfully organized under the guidance of the Principal, the Vice-Principal, Ragini Singh and supported by the Safe Co-ordinator, Debjani Dey and incharge Sanjeet Singh. The message to celebrate a safe Diwali was conveyed through various posters and slogans. The students were made aware of the pros and cons of burning fire crackers and the ways to celebrate eco-friendly Diwali.
