Jamshedpur: S.D.S.M. School for Excellence organized the Graduation Ceremony for the Class XII batch of 2024-25, marking an evening of mixed emotions as students bid farewell to their alma mater. The event, held on Saturday, resonated with blessings and best wishes from the school community.
The ceremony commenced with the traditional lighting of the lamp by Principal Moushumi Das, School Manager Dr. Nirmala Shukla and esteemed guests—Prof. Sanjay Bhuiyam, Head of the PG Department of Education at Jamshedpur Women’s University and social worker Kamla Venkat.
A total of 198 students received mementos and certificates, while five meritorious students were honored with special awards. The prestigious Principal’s Award was conferred upon Shubham Dutta and Riddhi Kumari for their exceptional academic performance and exemplary conduct.
In her address, Principal Das urged students to embody ‘GREAT’ values—Gratitude, Respect, Empathy, Attitude and being a True teacher. “An attitude of gratitude and passion for one’s work will lead to success,” she emphasized.
Guests encouraged students to be compassionate leaders and responsible citizens. The event concluded with the symbolic candle-lighting ceremony and the school song, leaving behind cherished memories for the graduating batch.
