SDSM School hosts ‘BLAZE’ inter-school event focused on sustainable environment

Jamshedpur, August 10: S.D.S.M. School for Excellence organized its mega inter-school event ‘BLAZE’ on Saturday, August 10, 2024, centred on the theme of Sustainable Environment. The event drew approximately 750 students from 27 local schools, participating in nine diverse competitions.

Sunita Sinha, Creative Director of Kavyapta Global School, inaugurated the event, emphasizing the importance of individual effort, consistency, and teamwork in achieving success. Principal Moushumi Das welcomed participants, stressing the value of participation over winning.

The competitions included Fashion Show, Pot Making, Mandala Art, Pencil Sketch, Group Dance, Group Song, Character Enactment, Model Making, and Heritage Quiz.

In the valedictory function, social worker Sangitar Behera presented awards to the winners. Vidya Bharati Chinmaya Vidyalaya, Telco claimed the Overall Champions Trophy, while Sacred Heart Convent School secured the Runner-Up position. St. Mary’s English High School was recognized for Maximum Participation in Events.

The event concluded with a Vote of Thanks and the National Anthem, marking a successful celebration of creativity and environmental awareness among Jamshedpur’s school students.
