Jamshedpur: S.D.S.M. School for Excellence celebrated the journey of its 2025–26 batch by hosting a Graduation and Valedictory Ceremony for Class XII students on Friday, February 6, 2026. The SDSM family gathered to bid an emotional farewell to the graduates, marking the occasion with a blend of school pride and academic recognition.
The programme commenced with the lighting of the ceremonial lamp by Principal Moushumi Das, in the presence of distinguished guests, including Neeraj Sinha, Chief Safety, Tata Steel; Kabita Agarwal, Director-Principal, Kavyapta Global School, and CBSE official Raghavendra Kumar. A total of 178 students were felicitated with certificates and mementos.
Four special awards were presented for meritorious academic performance and active participation in co-curricular activities. Principal’s Awards were conferred on Akshat, Aryan Kumar, Vikash Kumar, Harman Kaur, Bobina Bhatta Mishra, and Ayushi Banerjee for their outstanding achievements and exemplary conduct.
Addressing the students, Das emphasized the importance of values, ethics, humility, and gratitude, urging them to lead lives guided by integrity and responsibility. The ceremony concluded with candle lighting by the graduates and the school song.
