Jamshedpur, May 3: SDSM School for Excellence celebrated Labour Day on in the school premises on Monday, May 1. A special assembly was organized on this occasion. Divyajeet Kaur, a student of class 12 D in her speech enlightened the students about the importance and the relevance of the day.
The Principal of the school Mrs. Moushumi Das while addressing said, the school is managed due to the efforts of the team work and today we are celebrating the most important people in team who did pivotal work in the school.
They kept the school clean, kept up its maintenance and safety. The labour were appreciated and were given a small gift as a token of appreciation and a bouquet each.
A special ‘effort’ was carried out by all the students of classes VI-XII. In addition to this, Class XI and XII students carried out work during the break by cleaning the school play ground, canteen area, and some portion of the school building.
The students learnt valuable lessons of dignity of labour and respecting workers for toiling tirelessly. A special initiative was taken by the school to depict the life skill in practical. It was one of the most cherishing moment for the school.
