SDSM : Sagar Mehta bags Principal’s Award at graduation ceremony

Jamshedpur, Jan. 31: SDSM School for Excellence organised the Graduation Ceremony for the outgoing class 12 batch of 2016-17 on Monday at the school premises.

The campus of the school echoed with this blessing when the SDSM Family came together. It was an evening of mixed emotions for all present at the school campus to witness the official send off for the Class XII students at the Valedictory Ceremony.

The programme began with lighting of the lamp and recitation of school prayer. Then an hour long programme consisting of song and speeches was showcased. Chairman, Diwakar Singh, School Managing Committee Member, Vipin Sharma, Principal, Moushumi Das, Vice-Principal, Ragini Singh, coordinator, Meera Pal, students and their families, faculties and staff of SDSM School for Excellence also participated.

The students spoke about their experience and time they spent in the school. The students of Class XII were presented with the mementos and certificates. Principal’s Award was received by Sagar Mehta, Ruchika Jha and Rishav Sinha.

The passing out students expressed gratitude to their Chairman, Principal and teachers for their support and guidance.

The Chairman of the school, Diwakar Singh in his speech asked them to keep the flag of SDSM School for Excellence flying high by keeping the ideas of ‘Victory with Determination’ as learnt in the school. At last Principal, Mrs. Moushumi Das said “Day by day we focused on our goal, keeping together and working together.

We faced some incredible and memorable moments – that we chose to use as stepping stones to tenaciously pursue our common goals.

We have tried our best to facilitate your learning in various subjects. But children, remember life has no syllabus. Questions can come from any side, any angle, anywhere. You must learn to face the challenge of life and come out successfully to endure all that nature has in store for you”. The programme ended with the singing of school anthem.
