SDSM Prize Night: Aman Verma bags S.D. Singh Memorial Trophy

Jamshedpur, April 22: SDSM School for Excellence organized its Annual Prize Night at the school premises on Friday.

It was an endeavour to acknowledge the continuing saga of the glorious achievement of students in school academics and various other fields (regularity, perseverance and all rounder).

The Chief Guest for the occasion was Sunil Kumar, ADC, East Singhbhum. The function commenced with the welcome dance performance by the students of the school and with the auspicious lighting of the lamp by the Chief Guest, Respected Chairman, School Managing Committee Members, followed by Principal of the School.

A prayer song was sung by the school choir to boost up the morale of the gathering. The meritorious students were awarded with trophies and certificates under various categories.

Excellence Award was given to all the deserving students who had shown outstanding performance in various sphere of school session. The recipient of the Excellence awards were-Aman Verma of class 11 B who received S.D. Singh Memorial Trophy for Excellence Award (Science Stream).

N.K. Singh Memorial Trophy for Excellence Award (Commerce Stream) was awarded to Chandan Kumar Mauriya of class 11D. Ranbir Singh Memorial Trophy Excellence Award (Std.VI-X) was received by Akshit Kumar of class 8 A while K. D. Tewary Memorial Trophy for Excellence Award (Std.I-V) was bagged by Raman Bhardawaj of class 4C.

The Principal of the School congratulated the prize winners and the proud parents. The Chief Guest in his address applauded the efforts of the prize winners and encouraged them to do better. Annual Report was also presented by the Principal, Mrs. Moushumi Das.

It highlighted all the activities of 2016-2017 and some activities for the first time introduced in school. She acknowledged the support of the senior leaders.

She also mentioned the future plan of the school. Newsletter Vol.III was also released by the Chief Guest on this occasion. The grand spectacle came to a close with the school song followed by the National Anthem.
