Jamshedpur: S.D.S.M. School for Excellence organized a CPR and First Aid Training session for the First Aid Team of S.D.M.C., SAFE Club, teachers and students. The prime motto of the session was to provide the effective measures and empower oneself to manage any medical emergency.
Speaking on the occasion Dr. K. J. Parekh, Ex Head Occupational Health Services, Tata Steel, shared his knowledge on CPR � the most effective life saving procedure, in case of a cardiac arrest.
The session included important life saving techniques during medical emergency like bleeding, burn & other major injuries. The students were informed to adopt a 3P action plan to preserve, prevent and promote and lower down the life threatening risks.
Principal Moushumi Das thanked the organizing team for such a valuable session, Vice-Principal Ragini Singh appreciated the thought of first step towards saving a life. The program was well organized by the Safety Co-ordinator, Debjani Dey, in order to spread mass awareness.
