SDSM boy wins silver medal at International Yoga Championship

Jamshedpur, October 5: Chandan Maurya, a class XI-D student of SDSM School for Excellence has made his school, Jamshedpur and Jharkhand proud by winning a Silver Medal at the International Yoga Championship held in Jammu & Kashmir.

This is the first time the championship was held in India were more than 450 participants took part in the championship from 10 different countries.

Principal of the school Moushumi Das appreciated the performance of Chandan.

She also motivated the students by her speech and encouraged them to participate in Yoga as it keeps one healthy.

It may be noted that Chandan has secured a Gold Medal also in the Nationals this year.
