Jamshedpur: A team of district administration led jointly by the sub divisional officer (SDO) Prem Ranjan and SP (city) Karthik S raided Ghagidih Central Jail on Saturday.
The raid was conducted as a part of a precautionary move by the district administration ahead of the Lok Sabha elections.
Cops found a mobile phone charger from one of the cells. Nothing else was recovered from the cells. Local police station officials were also present during the raid.
