Seraikela: The sub divisional officer (SDO) of Seraikela Sadar Sanjeev Kumar Besra today convened a meeting at his office to discuss preparations for ensuring peace during Durga Puja.
He said the purpose of the meeting was to coordinate with the various government departments to make arrangements for the convenience of people celebrating Durga Puja and visiting puja pandals.
The SDO said the various police stations should keep in touch with the peace committee members and puja organizers during puja.
He said the various puja committees should make sufficient arrangement for parking, entry and exit of fire vehicles, fire extinguishers, first aid box and emergency telephone numbers.
