Jamshedpur, Jan 7: A delegation of the East Singhbhum District Bharat Scouts and Guides paid a courtesy visit to the newly appointed Sub-Divisional Officer (SDO) of Dhalbhum, Arnav Mishra (IAS), at his office in Jamshedpur on Wednesday afternoon.
Led by District Organising Commissioner Naresh Kumar, the delegation congratulated the SDO, who is also the ex-officio Vice-Chairman of the East Singhbhum District Bharat Scouts and Guides. The members felicitated him by presenting the traditional Scout and Guide scarf along with a bouquet and extended New Year greetings.
During the interaction, the delegation briefed the SDO about various programmes conducted by the district headquarters throughout the year in schools and colleges across East Singhbhum. They also highlighted the district’s achievements at district, state and national levels.
District Commissioner of the Cubs Wing Shyam Kumar Sharma was also present. Appreciating the initiatives and accomplishments of the Scouts and Guides, SDO Arnav Mishra extended his best wishes and assured continued support to the organisation’s activities.
