Scooter rider dies after hitting divider in Jamshedpur

Jamshedpur, April 11: A scooter rider died in a road accident late at night in the CH Area under Bistupur police station limits. The deceased, based on his Aadhaar card was identified as 55-year-old Baliram Rajak, a resident of Sonari Ramnagar.

According to reports, the scooter lost control near the Circuit House area and rammed into a road divider, leaving the rider critically injured. Police personnel on night patrol rushed him to the hospital immediately, where doctors declared him dead.

The police have informed the family of the deceased. Further investigation into the accident was underway.

One dead, one critical after car hits pedestrians

Jamshedpur, April 11: In road accident in the Rajnagar police station area, two people were injured after being hit by a speeding car. One of them later died during treatment, while the other remained in critical condition at Tata Main Hospital (TMH).

Following the incident, angry villagers surrounded the Rajnagar police station and staged a protest demanding action. Police have seized the vehicle involved in the accident. The identities of the victims have not yet been confirmed.

An FIR has been registered, and police are investigating the case. The accused driver is currently absconding.

Car hits parked truck

Jamshedpur, April 11: A major accident was narrowly avoided in the Govindpur area when a speeding car collided with a parked Hyva truck near the Chhota Govindpur water tank.

The Duster car struck the stationary vehicle on the roadside. All three occupants of the car suffered minor injuries and were safe. Police reached the spot soon after receiving information and took the injured for questioning.

Locals alleged that heavy vehicles were frequently parked along the roadside, increasing the risk of accidents, and demanded strict administrative action to prevent such incidents in the future.
