Jamshedpur, Dec 4: Class 12 Science (Biology) students of RVS Academy visited MGM Medical College on Thursday, 4 December 2025, as part of an educational enrichment programme aimed at exposing them to real-world medical practices.
During the visit, students explored key departments including Anatomy, Biochemistry, Physiology and Microbiology. They observed modern laboratory facilities, learned about diagnostic procedures and interacted with medical professionals. Faculty members of MGM Medical College briefed them on various testing techniques, demonstrated equipment and answered their questions in detail.
Chairman Binda Singh appreciated the initiative, stating, “Experiential learning is the strongest bridge between classroom knowledge and real-world understanding. Such tours encourage students to think big and excel in their chosen fields.”
Principal Veesha Mohindra expressed satisfaction with the programme, noting that the visit offered students a valuable blend of theoretical and practical learning. She said it would inspire them to explore career opportunities in medicine and allied sciences.
Students gained significantly from the exposure, connecting textbook concepts with real-life applications. The successful visit enriched their scientific understanding and motivated many to consider careers in medical, biotechnology and related fields. The school plans to organise similar meaningful learning experiences in the future.
