Science exhibition marks National Safety Day at Excel India Model School Jamshedpur

Jamshedpur, Match 7: A science exhibition was organized at Excel India Model School, located at Birsanagar Zone No. 3E, Pradhan Colony, to mark National Safety Day and National Science Day.
The event aimed to promote scientific thinking among students while highlighting the importance of safety and awareness.
Students enthusiastically participated in the exhibition and presented innovative projects on topics such as air cooler, excretory system, Newton’s cradle, periscope, and hydraulic bridge.
The projects focused on safety-related concepts and practical scientific applications.
The participants confidently explained their models and answered questions posed by the judges and visitors.
School Principal Mamta Kumari addressed the gathering and said that National Science Day is celebrated to honor the remarkable contribution of the great physicist Dr. C. V. Raman and to encourage scientific curiosity among students. She added that National Safety Day is observed to create awareness about safety measures and to prevent accidents.
Appreciating the students’ efforts, she noted that the projects reflected their understanding of scientific concepts and their ability to present them creatively with a focus on safety.
In the competition, Reena Kumari and Kajal Kumari (Class VII) secured the first position, while Pramod Kumar and Shubham Khandai (Class VIII) won the second position. The third position was shared by Mohit Das, Surya Kumar, and Rangeela Soren (Class VIII).
Other participating students included Priyanshi Panda, Rangeela Soren, Aanchal Kushwaha, Priyanka Kumari, and Payal Kumari.
The event witnessed active participation from students, teachers, and school staff, making it a successful and inspiring educational initiative.
