Jamshedpur: The ashram children of Trilochan Vidyapeeth in Chholagoda, Parsudih received a gift amount for dresses through a cheque for Rs 20,000 donated by Kolkata�s social worker Jaymati Agrawal which was handed to the school secretary Nishit Kumar Das on the eve of Utkal Divas. This cheque was handed over by East Singhbhum Utkal Sammelani president RN Sathpathy and secretary RK Mishra. Utkal Sammelani members Indira Sathpathy and Jairam Das Patra, school principal Shobhawati Hansda and the school children were present on the occasion.
More than 300 students at the Trilochan Vidyapeeth are given education in the Odiya language. Out of these 99 percent of the students belong to SC/ST category.
