Jamshedpur, May 4: Students and teachers celebrated the birthday of a class 7 girl student Sanka Sardar in Utkramit Vidyalaya, Tangrain on Thursday.
On the occasion all present sang birthday songs and extended birthday wishes. Sanka Sardar was presented a book and a plant as birthday gift.
Teacher Arvind Tiwary said that we have started this tradition so that the students feel something special is happening on their birthday.
Present on the occasion were Gram Siksha Samiti president Ujjwal Mandal, Subol Das, Gram Pradhan Mangal Pan, Rajaram, principal Shyamkant Thakur, Amal Dikshit, Vishwajeet Sardar, Sanat Mandal, Sumita Munda and others.
