Jamshedpur, Feb. 5: Financially weak students who want to continue their higher studies after Class 10, 12 and graduation have a golden opportunity coming their way.
Siksha Group of Education, Sakchi, has tied up with Public welfare Committee to help provide scholarships to students from SC, ST, OBC and minority committees for studying engineering, diploma and MBA in different colleges in Bhubaneswar, Delhi and NCR.
“The students from the general category will get 50 per cent discount in tuition and hostel fee while for others complete scholarship will be provided leaving out food expenses which must be borne by the students itself,” said Sanjeev SIngh, director of Siksha Group of Education.
Talking to the media persons on Friday, Singh said, “All the collegss are approved by AICTE and UGC and have 10 per cent seats are reserved for SC, ST and OBC students.
Most of the students with lack of knowledge are unable to benefit from the seat reservation they can contact the Siksha group, he added.
