SCCI sells onion at Rs 50 per kg

Jamshedpur, August 28: The Singhbhum Chamber of Commerce & Industry (SCCI) on Friday conducted a meeting in which they suggested remedies against the inflated onion price in the market. According to SCCI, onion prices have soared to a sky-high price recently.

It is available at the mandi or the wholesale market at a dear price of Rs 50 and therefore the price gets higher as it reaches the end consumers. To curb the prices govt. must intervene and open suvidha kendras at several locations.

This would be a lesson for the sellers who suppress onion stocks and give a further push to the inflated price. The kendras will also control the prices to a large extent.
