SCCI raise Airport, Tata Motors plant issue in front of Himani Pande

Jamshedpur, Jan 25: Amid the gloomy industrial scenario in the State, Chief Minister Hemant Soren in the first week of January, 2014 promised that required steps would be taken to promote the industry sector in Jharkhand and expressed that the State Government is equally concerned over the prevailing situation.

Seeing the situation in Jamshedpur, the industrial town of Jharkhand, members of Singhbhum Chamber of Commerce & industry (SCCI) including President Suresh Sonthalia, VP Bharat Vasanui, Vijay Anand Moonka, General Secretary Shrawan Kabra and Secretary Industries Sudhir Kumar Singh met Himani Pandey Secretary (Industries), Jharkhand Government.

The members laid down the problems in front of Secretary and demanded solution so that trade can take place smoothly.

The main focus of the meet was Tata Motors who have shifted some models of heavy trucks to Pantnagar in Uttarakhand. SCCI members informed Pande that the company took decision as they are getting relaxation in sales tax and excise duty.

Himani Pande on the occasion said that government is discussing to reduce the tax.
Talking about Airport in the city Himani Pande told that assured that a solution for that will be out and state level talks will be entertained.

On giving lands in Adityapur industrial area for small scale industries Himani Pande said that government is putting its full effort so that new business ventures should come in and land for the same is made available.

Earlier members of SCCI congratulated and presented a bouquet to Secretary, Industries, Jharkhand Government.
