Jamshedpur: Suresh Sonthalia team has taken a lead in the biennial elections of Singhbhum Chamber of Commerce and Industry which will be held on September 22.
Nomination papers for 11 office-bearers and 23 executive committee members were held on September 15-16 and were scrutinised on September 18.
Suresh�s team candidate for vice president public relations and welfare Vijay Anand Moonka will win uncontested as opposition party has not fielded any candidate.
This year 800 voters are expected to participate in the voting. Both are groups are trying their best to woo the traders to garner support.
Today Bharat Vsani, Raju Gandhi, Madan Gupta and Harshad Shah, Makdum Hussein, KM Mittal, Arun Gupta, Avdesh Mishra, Padam Agarwal, Ramesh Sachdeva, Hemendra Jain, Ramesh Agarwal, Anand Rao, Vittal Agwal, Kisor Golchha, Dinesh Chowdhury participated in the campaigning.
