SCCI delegation meets CM on Jamshedpur Airport issue

Jamshedpur, Feb 15: A delegation from the Singhbhum Chamber, led by President Vijay Anand Moonka, recently met the Chief Minister of Jharkhand, Champai Soren, to discuss key developmental issues in the Kolhan region. The delegation extended congratulations to Chief Minister Soren on his new role and engaged in detailed discussions on various matters concerning the growth of Kolhan.

Among the prominent topics addressed during the meeting were the impediments hindering the construction of the Dhalbhumgarh Airport. The delegation emphasized the importance of overcoming these obstacles to facilitate the airport’s development. Additionally, the delegation sought the Chief Minister’s support in ensuring that electricity is made available to industries in Kolhan at rates comparable to those in other districts of the state.

Other crucial points of discussion included initiating the registry of lands and flats in the Tata command area, conducting surveys of lands in Jugsalai and Mango, and addressing the outstanding GST payments to contractors. The delegation also provided insights into various development works in Kolhan.

The Chief Minister attentively listened to the concerns raised by the Singhbhum Chamber delegation and pledged to take necessary actions to address the issues discussed. Following their meeting with Chief Minister Soren, the delegation also met with State Chief Secretary L. Khilangte, I.P., Secretary to the Chief Minister Vinay Kumar Choubey, I.P., Secretary of the Road Construction Department Sunil Kumar, I.P., and Secretary of Food and Consumer Affairs Dr. Amitabh Kaushal. The discussions covered a wide range of topics concerning the overall development of Kolhan.

The delegation, including President Vijay Anand Moonka, Honorary General Secretary Manav Kedia, Secretary of Industries Vinod Sharma, Treasurer CA Anil Ringsiya, expressed optimism about collaborative efforts to overcome challenges and propel the development of the Kolhan region.
