Lahore, March 28 (IANS) Muhammad Zubair was buying tickets for the swings in Lahore’s Gulshan-e-Iqbal park on Sunday when a suicide bomber detonated himself with a thunderous explosion.
Zubair had reached the park in the evening with 10 relatives who had come from Sindh to visit Lahore a few days ago.
“We were a group of 13 out of which only three survived the attack,� a grieving Zubair, 27, told Dawn on Monday.
�I witnessed my parents, sisters and relatives die on the spot. Everything has finished for me now,� added the devastated man.
More than 70 people were killed in the suicide attack that also left about 300 people injured. Most victims were women and children.
