Jamshedpur, June 29: Jamshedpur East MLA Saryu Roy has demanded a policy initiative on part of the state government to resolve the issues pertaining to Sairat and holding tax hike.
In a statement issued here on Wednesday, he said the government should form a high level committee to review its decision to increase Sairat and holding tax.
Roy said he had written to the Chief Secretary of Jharkhand in this regard and had also demanded measures to provide ownership right to the residents of various settlements of Jamshedpur.
Roy said the state government should seriously review the current state of public amenities in the city. He said the government should enhance facilities for the residents of Jamshedpur.
