Jamshedpur, Apr 16: Jamshedpur East MLA Saryu Roy has advised to the state health minister and Jamshedpur West MLA Banna Gupta that instead of inspecting hospitals efforts should be made to improve the system of hospitals.

In a tweet to the chief minister Hemant Soren, the former BJP senior leader Saryu Roy has advised the health minister and health secretary that instead of visiting hospitals and seeing the patients they should make efforts while sitting in their office to ensure that facilities, funds and equipments are available at hospitals.

The statement of Saryu Roy came an hour after Banna Gupta had tweeted about his inspection of Maa Kalawati Hospital and Uma Hospital in Ranchi and ensuring 25 bed ICU and a total of 50 bed for Covid patients at Maa Kalawati Hospital and in Uma Hospital 15 bed ICU and 50 bed for Covid patients.

Earlier, the health minister had visited Ranchi Sadar Hospital dressed in PPE kit and also held meeting with hospital representatives at Jamshedpur to take stock of preparation for Covid cases and directed hospitals against fleecing patients in the name of treatment.
