Jamshedpur, Oct 3: Preparations were underway for the upcoming Chhath festival and Jamshedpur West MLA Saryu Roy directed close monitoring of arrangements. His Ulidih constituency representative, Santosh Bhagat, inspected several Chhath Ghats on Friday.
Bhagat urged Mango Municipal Corporation officials to expedite cleaning at key ghats, including Workers College, Kunwar Basti, Baikunth Nagar, Shanti Nagar, Laxman Nagar, Sanjeevani Path, and Ram Nagar. He stressed that timely action was essential to ensure smooth celebrations for devotees.
