Saryu Roy meets Nitin Gadkari, demands quality work on NH33

Jamshedpur, Oct 23: State Food and Civil Supplies Minister Saryu Roy met Union Road Transport Minister Nitin Gadkari to discuss various development issues related to NH33 and Mango Municipal Corporation projects.

Roy informed Gadkari about the proposed construction of road from Shaharbera to Mahulia (NH33) and its importance for the people of Jamshedpur, especially those living in his constituency, Jamshedpur West. He also spoke about the construction of a drain under Mango Municipality. He gave a letter to the Union Minister regarding the pending highway projects in the district.

Roy also demanded construction of an elevated corridor near Pardih Chowk and Dimna Chowk. He further demanded repair of NH33, citing road safety as a major issue.

Gadkari assured Roy about quality construction of NH33 and the drain passing through Mango municipal area.

Roy was accompanied by RK Pandey of National Highway Authority of India, Rahul Gupta, chief executive officer, Naveen Kumar and Bijan Patil.
