Saryu Roy lays foundation stone for Rs 14 Crore Road Development Project

Jamshedpur, October 10: Jamshedpur East MLA Saryu Roy, on Thursday, laid the foundation stone for a road construction project worth approximately ₹14.77 crores. The ceremony took place near the Bajrangbali temple in Namda Basti, Anand Nagar.

The project includes the construction of several roads, totalling over 12 kilometers, such as the 1 km stretch from Golmuri Namda Basti Main Road to Kali Mandir Link Road, and the 3.05 km road from Mercy Hospital Main Road to Gandhi Road Nagadungari, among others.

During the ceremony, Saryu Roy highlighted his commitment to enhancing civic amenities in the area, noting that since taking office, he had initiated road construction projects across various locations. He expressed confidence that these projects would improve the infrastructure of the East Assembly constituency significantly, with only  smaller internal roads remaining to be addressed once the current schemes were completed.

Roy stated that due to his efforts, road construction schemes worth over ₹96 crore had been approved in the Jamshedpur East Assembly area from the Road Construction Department alone. He emphasized the importance of quality construction and timely completion of all projects.

The foundation stone-laying event was attended by Deepak Sahay, Executive Engineer of the Road Construction Department, BJM District President Subodh Srivastava, and various local representatives and citizens.
