Jamshedpur, May 2: Under the guidance of MLA Saryu Roy, efforts are underway to extend electricity services to various areas in Jamshedpur, in collaboration with Tata Steel Utilities Infrastructure Services Limited (TS UISL). Plans include providing JUSCO electricity to Baridih Basti, Shantinagar, and Shaktinagar, with the construction of a substation to facilitate this endeavor.
A delegation from Tata Steel UISL recently visited Baridih to select a suitable site for the substation. After thorough assessment, vacant land along Bagun Nagar, TOP Maidan, and Hari Maidan in Baridih were deemed appropriate for construction. Tata Steel UISL officials affirmed that construction would commence shortly.
The visit witnessed the presence of MLA Saryu Roy’s personal secretary Sudhir Singh, along with other officials and members of the Tata Steel UISL delegation, highlighting the collaborative effort towards enhancing electricity infrastructure in the region.
