Jamshedpur, April 14 : Munsha Singh Bagan, Shri-Shri Shiv Hanuman Temple at Munsha Singh Bagan in Sakchi was inaugurated jointly by Saryu Roy, former Jharkhand Minister- cum-MLA from Jamshedpur East constituency and Chandragupta Singh, General Secretary of AJSU Party. Sardar Manjit Singh informed that in 1978, The people of the Basti used to worship the idol of Lord Shiva under a tree at the place. When Saryu Roy visited this place and on seeing the idol of Lord Shiva in that state, he played a leading role in getting a temple constructed at the spot. Streetlight was installed by MLA Saryu Roy and also contributed to the construction of the temple. The foundation for the construction of this temple was laid by Chandragupta Singh eight months ago. Since the last 3 days, a team of pundits had performed the Pran Pratishtha rituals. The local people as well as other devotees expressed gratitude to Saryu Roy, Chandra Gupta Singh and Sardar Manjit Singh for the construction of this temple.
