Jamshedpur, May 10: Jamshedpur East MLA, Saryu Roy, has penned a letter to Ravindra Kulkarni, Plant Head of Tata Motors, urging for the realization of the concept of Mini India in Jamshedpur. Identifying the area surrounding the Bhuvaneshwari Devi Temple as an ideal location, Roy emphasized the eco-friendly nature of the site for implementing this visionary project.

In his letter, Roy referenced a meeting with Kulkarni on April 17th, highlighting the potential of establishing a picturesque landscape of Mini India in Jamshedpur. He envisioned this initiative as a comprehensive representation of India’s diverse culture, offering visitors a holistic experience of unity amidst diversity.

Jamshedpur, often dubbed as Mini India, serves as a melting pot of art, culture, language, and traditions from across the nation, including neighboring Nepal, for over a century. Roy emphasized the vibrant tapestry of diversity present in Jamshedpur, likening it to a garden blooming with flowers of myriad colors and fragrances.

Roy’s vision extends to transforming Jamshedpur into a focal point where the rich heritage of India is vividly showcased, encompassing the journey of human development from ancient mythology to the present day. Drawing inspiration from his interactions with international institutions and individuals in the field of art and culture during his visit to Delhi after Ram Navami, Roy expressed enthusiasm for the Mini India concept, garnering favorable responses.

In the coming days, Roy plans to convene local artists, theater workers, and cultural enthusiasts from Jamshedpur to solicit their input and ideas. Subsequently, he intends to engage in further discussions with Kulkarni to advance this visionary project, which promises to be a unique endeavor in the country’s cultural landscape.
