Jamshedpur, July 22: Seeing the tense situation in Jamshedpur after district administration imposed curfew on Tuesday night, Saryu Rai, MLA Jamshedpur West and Jharkhand Minister visited sensitive spots of the city on Wednesday and reviewed the situation.
Minister seemed satisfied by the safety arrangements at place and the people of Steel City specially Mango seemed content with the law and order situation and supported the administrationís effort in restoring peace. Rai seemed confident that the situation will be under full control by Thursday.
Minister Rai through a release informed that the administration relaxed the indefinite curfew for 4 hours from 1 pm to 5 pm in Jamshedpur, barring the affected Mango area which shows administrations belief in the citizens.
Saryu Rai appealed the citizens of Jamshedpur to help restore serenity in the city and assist the administration so that the law and order in the city can be secured were administration and police can overcome the situation and the culprits behind the incident can be held.
The miscreants have led to this tangle and rumors floated by them have made Jamshedpur innocent people suffer a lot. The release further said that the normal life faced a setback in Mango ever after the clashes and the water supply was cut off on Tuesday and it was restored on Wednesday.
The supply of milk, bread, eggs, vegetables and several essential and daily items was shut down and administration is looking for solution to restore the supply.
The administration has identified the miscreants and arrested more than 100, soon peace will be restored and trouble makers will be punished.
Saryu Rai appealed to the people to support the administration in restoring peace in the city.
