Jamshedpur, Dec. 29: Taking glitches in the ration card seriously, state food and civil supplies minister, Saryu Rai has ordered probe into the matter.
Yugal Kishore Choubey, director has been given the responsibility. Rai on Tuesday asked Ravi Ranjan, special secretary to issue order into probe.
Yugal Choubey has been given the responsibility to cracking down on errors in ration card distribution, half incomplete name in cards along with card issued in the name of fake and ineligible people.
Minister also ordered to form new PDS control order and said that all the orders issued by the state government are not adhered on the grounds and said that it should be done at the ground.
Rai further said that reckless officers will be targeted and a meeting held at DSO level several papers from the district are being brought in and special secretary of the department, Basant Kumar has been ordered to look into the matter for which all the employees of the department will cooperate him.
At the first it will be seen that the information which have been availed from the district are in correct orders on not and later the authenticity of the information will be looked upon so that it can be noted as where there are abatement in food supply management.
Rai also said that it would be ensured that food grains from government godowns reaches ration dealers in right quantity and later it is distributed among beneficiaries after the distribution the quantity of food grain left should be reported back to the government godowns.
