Jamshedpur, Nov. 2: Jharkhand Food Supply Minister Saryu Rai inspected ration cards and distributed ration cards among residents of Bistupur Northern Town area where daycare worker reached out to those residing at out-houses.
He said that the ration card will help one to get wheat, sugar, and kerosene oil at subsidised prices. According to the minister, those who have not yet received their ration cards will get them after the ensuing panchayat elections.
The minister said that the Government of India will provide ration cards to 2, 64,00,000 people. He said that those have been denied ration cards till date need not worry as will get them after the elections.
