Jamshedpur, Sept 21: Contradicting the news published in the newspaper about his anti-government statements, Parliamentary Affairs Minister Saryu Rai on Monday said that he doesn’t have any issues with the government.
“State government is functioning smoothly and being the Parliamentary Affairs Minister my work is to unite the government not to crack it. I just don’t know how this statement was published by the media when I never spoke against the functioning of the government.
Minister termed the news published in the newspaper as unfounded. Talking to the media persons, Saryu said, if I would have any issues with the government I would keep it on an appropriate forum. “No difference had ever cropped up in regarding with any decision taken on crucial issues as the cabinet stood like a rock,” Roy stressed.
He said that on Sunday he asked the party activists to work with restrain and not gave any anti-government statements. Referring to the meeting of party workers of his West Jamshedpur constituency here on Sunday, Roy said he had asked party workers to ensure that government schemes were implemented in a proper manner.
He said that his statements were wrongly interpreted The minister said the delivery system of the state was weak and the present government has framed over one and half dozen rules to strengthen the system.
