Saryu accuses district administration of following dual policy

Jamshedpur : Concerned over BJP and Congress activists brawl during a TV show, BJP leader and candidate in fray for the Jamshedpur West assembly constituency today met DC Amitabh Kaushal and demanded immediate action at the Congress activists.

Roy also accused the administration for adopting dual policy and not acting against the Congress. Members of BJP and Congress had clashed between themselves during the live interactive session organised by a private TV channel at the Dorabji Tata Park in Bistupur late last evening.

At the session, the BJP’s Jamshedpur West candidate Saryu Roy, Jharkhand Mukti Morcha’s Upendra Singh and Jharkhand Vikas Morcha’s Jamshedpur East candidate Abhay Singh were at the dais with the anchor of the private TV channel conducting the question answer session.

The programme was going on peacefully. But as Gupta arrived at the venue along with his supporters, the latters started shouting slogans in favour of the Congress candidates, triggering a reaction from the BJP supporters.

He said that the BJP activists will take direct action against Congress workers.He alleged that the Congress has put up several illegal hoardings but no action is being taken.
