Sarkar Apke Dwar to resolve public issues at doorstep: Jamshedpur DC

Jamshedpur, Jan 29: Sarkar Apke Dwar programme was organized at Upgraded Middle School, Bhitardadi, in Keruwadungri panchayat of Golmuri-cum-Jugsalai block on Wednesday. Deputy Commissioner Ravi Shankar Shukla was present along with many other district officials. Several stalls were set up with the view to give information to visitors on various public welfare schemes. Applications regarding various utility services and schemes were also received through these stalls.

In his address, the DC said the purpose of the programme was to resolve all public issues raised at panchayat level as soon as possible. The panchayat, block and district level officials have been asked to collect all complaints and applications and ensure their disposal without delay, he said.

The DC said the government wants to ensure that the common man does not have to run from pillar to post for any services or benefit under any scheme.

In today�s programme, 171 applications pertaining to pension, drinking water, housing facility, electricity supply and other public utilities were received by the district administration.

The applications were also related to irrigation, ration, disability certificate, boundary wall construction around Jahar Sthan, employment, road construction, pond construction and soil health card.

Today�s programme was also attended by ADC, SDO Dhalbhumgarh, Special Officer Rationing among other officials.
