Sardar Inderjeet Singh gets grand welcome post poll win in Jamshedpur

Jamshedpur: Sardar Inderjeet Singh, newly-elected member of Takht Shri Harmandir Sahib managing committee from South Bihar constituency, was accorded a warm welcome by supporters, friends and representatives of various city gurudwara committees on his arrival on Sunday. His supporters welcomed him with the beat of traditional drums and fireworks. He was felicitated at several places including National Highway 33, Pardih Chowk, Mango, Sakchi, Golmuri and Telco.

Thanking his supporters and friends, Singh offered prayers at Sant Kutiya Gurudwara in Mango, Kalgidhar Gurudwara in Tuiladungri and Telco Gurudwara. At Mango, he garlanded the statue of martyr Khudiram Bose. Later, he was felicitated by the members of Stree Satsang Sabha at various places. At Sant Kutiya Gurudwara, Singh was presented a shawl.

Linking new generation to Sikh heritage my priority: Inderjeet

Jamshedpur: Exuding confidence after being elected member of Takht Shri Harmandir Sahib managing committee, Sardar Inderjeet Singh on Sunday said his top priority would be to link the new generation to the rich past and heritage of Sikh religion.
He said he would try his best to ensure brotherhood between the Sikhs of Jharkhand and Bihar. He said he would work for the unity of Sikhs.
