Jamshedpur, Jan 29: Basant Panchami was observed today at the BJP district office. The Goddess of Learning Devi Saraswati was worshipped with piety by senior party leader Jitendra Nath Mishra with district president Dinesh Kumar hosting the religious function. The puja rituals continued for 90 minutes concluding with the Goddess� Arti.
The BJP district president greeted the devotees and sought the blessings of the Deity for all.
More than 2,000 party workers and visitors were distributed the Devi�s consecrated food.
Those present at the function included Rambabu Tiwary, Sudipto Dey Rana, Sanjiv Singh, Khemlal Chowdhary, Bhupendra Singh, Chittaranjan Verma, Sanjiv Sinha, Anil Modi, Vimal Jalan, Ankit Anand, Dipak Parik, Amarjit Singh raja, Priti Sinha, Pankaj Sinha and Probir Chatterjee Rana.
